researchED Scandinavia arrangeres i Gøteborg 19. mars 2016

  1. To raise the research literacy of the education profession
  2. To platform transformative research and challenge research of poor quality
  3. To bring different education communities together than often have too few opportunities to do so.
ResearchED Scandinavia arrangeres i Gøteborg lørdag 19. mars 2016.

Se hele programmet her.

Se lista over foredragsholdere her.

  • We encourage everyone affected by education research to speak and contribute- researchers, academics, policy makers, teachers, and that blend makes for very special and powerful conversations, not merely privileged ones.
  • We run events on Saturdays only, in order for all educators to be able to attend
  • We keep ticket costs to a bare minimum so that price presents no barrier to attendance
  • The audience will be 75% school workers, 25% researchers/ academics. Many attendees are keen amateurs looking for a way into understanding the principles of research or the latest research itself. But some are experienced in classroom research, at a university or institutional level.
  • We encourage speakers to present on topics that have the potential to assist educators to help children learn. But we also welcome topics that are interesting, thought provoking, or have the potential to do good in some other way.
  • Sessions are around 45 minutes, including questions; this encourages impact, brevity and focus.
  • Attendees go to one of several simultaneous sessions, picking them on the day. This makes it possible to build a day that suits the individual.
  • We encourage debate, challenge and cross examination. Panels and sessions will reflect this. Otherwise we simply echo and congratulate our own views, and progress is limited.
  • We do not offer speaker fees, as this enable us to meet our target of the lowest ticket prices possible, but we are happy to cover travel expenses if required.
